Wildflowers-Feature Fridays by Jessica Blais

Well, it’s Feature Friday again!

Ok everyone, I am excited to say that Feature Fridays will commence. I took a break for the holidays but we’re on to more wonderful artists and businesses.

To kick it off, I’d like to introduce you to Wildflowers. {{more}}

Design architect Cyndi Babin decided she wanted to open her own bakery. For 30 years she worked at her self-taught skill and original recipes and in 2009 decided it was time to go for it. Originally selling bakery and flowers, the name Wildflowers was perfect.

Cyndi takes orders for many different kinds of bakery and goodies. One can order everything from cakes to iced cookies to scones. Her love for baking shows up in her work. Importantly, Cyndi understands the meaning of “gluten-free” and accommodates anyone with a severe allergy to gluten, making sure there is no cross-contamination. All of her recipes are from scratch including all frosting and even fondant and she also offers vegan bakery. Her wedding cakes are beautiful and she includes delivery and set up in her orders for weddings.

In the future, Cyndi would like to have her refinished furniture in her shop, another passion of hers. Currently, Wildflowers offers an array of local and handmade gifts. It is definitely a one-stop-shop kind of bakery; you can purchase your goodies, a gift and a card for a loved one.

At the end of our time, I HAD to ask Cyndi if she grew up with an Easy-Bake oven. Her eyes lit up and of COURSE, she did. She also couldn’t wait to buy one for her daughters when they were old enough.

Cyndi is a lovely person, she is sweet and kind and it was my total joy to sit and visit with her while she frosted some cupcakes. (That I was sure to take home- delish!!).

If you would like to follow Wildflowers you can find her Facebook page WILDFLOWERS, Instagram wildflowersnh, and website http://wildflowersnh.com/

Thank you, so much Cyndi, for your time with this interview. I look forward to seeing more of your artistic creations.
