I love car shows. They are fun. They are informative. And mostly, they reflect families, generations, and FUN!

I love FUN!

And car shows. Each year I spend a week at a car show for my vacation. I invite my children and my grandchildren to this show.

This past week was challenging, but I knew I wanted to go to a car show with my grandson, Jacob. This outing would be my first show of this year. (And the fact that it had a craft show with local vendors did not hurt.)

People ask me why I go to car shows. Here are some of my answers.

Attending a car show can be a worthwhile experience for several reasons.

Even though this show would be on a smaller scale, it was fun to be there. I know many of these folks and love seeing them again. And being with my grandson makes it worthwhile.

One of the fun aspects of this show was the craft show that was going on the other side—a lot of great crafts from amazing artisans. As I mentioned, this show is smaller than many I attend, but it is community oriented. (One of the guys I know well told me, ” That guy lives down the street. That one behind me…”)
