A Program of Positivity and Resilience
When I began Positive News For You in 2017, I had a dream. To change the world. To help people step out of the world of negativity and do things to bring hope. It is my nature and who I am.
In 2017, I started a nonprofit, with the purpose of changing the world. In our articles, I said this…
The specific purpose for which the corporation is initially organized is to to engage in a broad range of strategies that promote positivity and education, practical support to individuals with terminal illnesses to also engage in activities which are necessary, suitable or convenient for the accomplishment of that purpose, or which are incidental thereto or connected therewith which are consistent with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
In that same year, I reached out to a friend and corporate trainer, and asked him to put together a program of education for students. Because of health issues on his end and some obstacles, it did not happen.
But a month ago, we had a serious conversation and began to revisit the idea. He named it “Positivity and Resilience Training.”
His daughters are people on his team. One of them sent me this.
“Unfortunately, many do not know the physical and psychological effects that having a victim, narcissistic, sociopathic, etc mentality does to one’s mind and body. It has come out (and been highly thought of/hypothesized for some time now), that due to such toxicity within the mind, as well as actually speaking those thoughts constantly, it both hinders your development, preventing one from growing. The mental effects the physical, and due to this circumstance, staying in such thought renders the ability to actually think critically, allowing the next stages of mental deterioration to occur. Once that has been established, the body (more specifically the brain) begins to release toxins, that overtime, will begin the suppress the immune system, affect the wiring of the brain, leading further down into this rabbit hole, as well as leasing an unnatural amount of neurotransmitters, compromising hormones (and the list goes on, I’ll link some articles and papers about these subjects, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you read them…this means please read them 😀)”
And in my community, we recently had 2 middle school children commit suicide. And just today, a high schooler was sexually attacked. Folks, I live in one of the best school districts in the state!
If you have followed me for any length of time, you know that I have been homeschooling my now, 17-year-old grandson. Why? Because of COVID and the bullying he saw his friends go through.
COVID threw us under the bus. And it affected our children.

Here is what Harvard studies had to say. “Affected students recovered 20–30% of the lost ground in the first year, but then made no further recovery in the subsequent three to four years.”
Will you be part of the change?
My friend has developed books to help children. After our talk and subsequent conversation, we agreed to collaborate.
To develop a curricula for ALL school children. To create books to support the curricula that has been developed. And a whole lot more. We will be announcing more soon!
So, let’s be real. If we want to change the word, we need to work together. Decide what is important. And run after it.
Your time, talent, and treasure help.
Your finances will get us over the final mountain.
I am looking for folks to donate. Educators and teachers. Family and friends.
