Sharon Black was cast in a short film, and the filming was on September 13th in Papillion, Nebraska. The title of the film is “Tea for Two,” about two ladies in an assisted living facility, and one has memory issues. Sharon plays Edith, and Linda Hughes of Omaha plays Margaret, the forgetful one.
Maverick Knox is the producer and writer of the script. Christian Velez was the director. The facility was Hillcrest Mabel Rose in Papillion. It took about four hours to complete a three-page script. Sharon and Maretta Johnson drove to Papillion on Friday.
Maverick wrote the script in response to his grandparents, who had memory loss.
The film will be available once it is completed to be shown at assisted living facilities, and anyone who would like to show such a film.
