Where Has Our Peace Gone?

It is the recognition that you “can do this!”

I listen to the news. I read the news. Until I feel my sense of peace evaporating. Then I turn it off, or switch to another thing to read.

As a parent and a grandparent, I was thinking this morning on what they face. Will they be ready? Have I prepared them?

A year ago, I began Positive News For You, because the outrage in media towards everyone and everybody had just caused me to come to that Popeye place, “where I have had all I can take and I cans’t take no more”. I posted 4 articles. That was all I found that day. But as I spent more time, it as not unusual to post 50 plus articles for a given day.

Today, I could not find that many. The trend has been that there are less and less, published stories, readily available. Does that mean the world is getting worse! Absolutely not, though I am not thrilled with China preparing to clone humans.

It means that the focus of the media is on events that sell drama and strike fear into the hearts of people. Add in the political, generational and cultural perspectives, and what was once considered a melting pot is being stirred by the hands of those creating a poisonous brew.

Does anyone know the meaning of “STOP MEAN STOP!”

Each one of us has an area of influence and it is our responsible action to take care of it in a manner that helps us and helps others.
