Smith County Memorial Hospital on Highway 36 is five years old this month. To celebrate, a Fun Fair took place on Saturday morning, August fifth. The Fun Fair was like the old Health Fair, and outside on the parking lot, vendors were set up with
information, goodies to give away, and fun.

Snow cones were free to all, paid for by the Smith County Community Foundation.
EMS had an ambulance open and demonstrated things on the ambulance. Games for
children and the ‘bouncy houses’ held the attention of many children.

Pictures were taken by Julie Kuhlmann Photography, the Imaging and Radiology Department made mammogram appointments, and The Gardner Wellness Center had a promotion.
