A friend, Wanda, and I spent a day traveling to events in North Central Kansas. The first event was the Wakonda Lake festival, near Glen Elder, Kansas, where native dancers were featured and Indian tacos to eat and other performances by fancy dancers. Wichita Wardancer gave the first performance in the morning. He is a award-winning fancy dancer, and he’s been all over the world dancing.
In the afternoon we traveled to Logan, Kansas to the 50th anniversary of the Hansen Museum. They featured paintings and exhibits by the late painter, Bob Ross. At the east door or anywhere they put him, the security guard is seriously watching everyone. But he won’t go anywhere from his spot, because he is made of wax.
At 3 o’clock in the afternoon,

Hansen Museum
performed for a crowd on the south side of the museum lawn. He always ends his concert or events with his hit song Wildfire.
If you really search for events online about Kansas, there’s a lot to do in the state.
