Thursday – November 17 th , 2022 6:00AM – 6:00PM
For the past three years The Peak Radio station in Partnership with the Colonial Performing Arts Center has done an annual fund raiser for the food insecure in the Monadnock region. Coming up on Thursday, November 17th we will be doing our 4th .
This one-day event has raised over $10,000.00 for the last two years and we don’t suspect that this year will be any different. We already have large commitments from, Fenton Family Dealership, Keene Auto Body, Hubbard Breeders, Anne Henderson Design, Monadnock Harley, Cheshire Medical, Syd’s Carpet and Snooze Room, Mondovi Dental, Bob’s Fuel, 21 Bar & Grill, Wilcox Tree Service, Saving’s Bank of Walpole, Northeast Mountain Footwear, Bowman Dental, US Cellular, Beeze Tees, Poodiack Wealth and Deep Roots Massage. But we are still relying on the community and other businesses to step up on the 17 th and take part in this great event. The Peak Radio Station along with its sister stations KOOL FM and WEEI will be broadcasting from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM to help drive donations. We’ll be under the Marquee with parking spots designated for easy drop-offs.
Peter “Fish” Case / General Manager – The Peak, WEEI &KOOL FM:
“At Great Eastern Radio we understand that we have a responsibility to serve our communities. Doing Cans in the Colonial is just one of those ways that allow us and our listeners to give back”.
Sarah Harpster / Executive Director – The Community Kitchen:
“Fundraising is always a challenging, but very necessary piece of doing the good work of feeding our community. With our partners at The Peak doing the heavy lifting for us with the Cans in the Colonial event, we can focus on delivering our pantry and hot meals services in the holidays and throughout the year. We deeply appreciate their ambitious and creative efforts with this event, and it will make the holidays brighter for our organization and the people we support.”
Alec Doyle / Executive Director – Colonial Performing Arts Center:
“Anytime we can leverage our resources for the benefit of the community as a whole is a win/win.”
