Checking out Chickadee Bakery on 174 Main Street in Marlborough NH this morning. Starting off with a very sizable cup of coffee(which is bottomless by the way!) and a blueberry lemon scone. Then onto the much raved about breakfast sandwiches that are made to order. {{more}}
It’s a nice little place and I love all the comfy chairs to sit in. Very inviting and welcoming atmosphere. Also a nice change of pace from the normal hustle and bustle of a morning. Great place to sit and read a book without any distractions. Just sipped the first sip of coffee and I’m starting to feel groovy. And the blueberry lemon scone is light and fluffy and full of flavor. I can smell the bacon and sausage cooking and it’s getting me very excited for those breakfast sandwiches!
Okay so about those breakfast sandwiches on biscuits? So good along side the scone and dark roast coffee! A lot of calories to be sure but it makes me happy eating them so who’s counting right? . One bacon egg and cheese and one sausage egg and cheese sandwich get my high praises for sure!
My taste buds are hopping!
BTW- the hours here are Tues-Fri 6-2 pm and Sat 7-1. Totally worth it!
