Reasons for having Ken “Kenny” MacNeil On my podcast:
Ken MacNeil in Service
The decision to have Kenny MacNeil as a guest on my podcast was deeply rooted in our personal connection and shared spiritual journey. Known affectionately as Kenny, he is not just a friend but a brother in faith, bridging the gap between Messianic Judaism and Christianity. Our camaraderie has extended beyond the podcast realm, as we’ve collaborated on various projects, fostering a bond grounded in our mutual belief in Yeshua or Christ.
Beyond our personal connection, Kenny’s wealth of knowledge in the Messianic Jewish world was a compelling reason to feature him. When the geopolitical landscape was tense with the Israeli-Iranian conflict, I seized the opportunity to tap into Kenny’s insights. Unfortunately, technical glitches marred a portion of our recorded conversation, but what remained was a treasure trove of enlightening content. Kenny’s perspectives on the unfolding events and his exploration of a prominent Jewish idiom added depth and nuance to the episode, making it a truly refreshing and educational experience for both me and the listeners. Through his unique vantage point, we explored the convergence of two worlds, Messianic Judaism and Christianity, fostering a dialogue that resonates with the shared beliefs of our diverse audience.

Ken’s journey is one of unwavering dedication, showcased not only in his spiritual leadership but also in his diverse professional experiences, revealing a man of insight, creativity, and assertiveness.
Announcer: Today’s guest is someone Chris has had a connection with for over a decade now and has kept the channels of communication open through the years.
He’s not just a friend; he’s a brother from across the aisle, figuratively speaking, of course. Our guest is a Messianic Jewish rabbi, someone who has his finger on the pulse of what’s going on in the region of the world.

Ken: The Good News is a sample of a microcosm of what was to come when the Messiah will be the one standing on Mount Zion declaring victory over evil and the good news of God’s grace on the whole earth.
And sum up the introduction with just saying Zechariah 14.4, you know, this is the Shalom that he’ll be speaking.
Ken: Yeah, Yeshua.
On that day, His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives. And then Adonai will be king over the whole world. And on that day, Adonai will be the only one, and his name will be the only name. We won’t have, you know, all these different religions.
Ken: It’ll be peace. It’ll be unity.
Ken: It says, proclaiming shalom, peace, continues, bringing good news of good things, announcing salvation, deliverance from their enemies, and saying to Zion, and that is, you know, Mount Zion in Jerusalem, in Israel, your God is King.
Ken: So lastly, when there is, there will be peace with all men and with God.
That’s why it’s so important today that you know what’s going on, that we understand that there is coming and that we have to strive for this.
The ushering in of the Messiah, the Jewish slash Christian Messiah, is coming to establish world peace.
Ken: Who are the idolaters and believers and infidels, it says. So here we see a stark contrast.
Ken: The prophets between the Judean Bible and the Christian Judean Bible profess peace to be right with God, you know, but verses in some parts of Islam teach the opposite, unfortunately.
Ken: Kill unbelievers, including Muslims. We’ve seen Muslims killed, though, in Israel.
Host: How would you describe the current situation in Israel, particularly in light of the intense conflict between Israel and Hamas in 2023 this year as we come to a close?
Ken: That’s a very good question, and it’s definitely getting a lot of exposure, and there’s a lot of debate about that.
Ken: Most people today are engaged in debating the facts, debating the facts of whether Israel has a right to land or even the right to exist.
Ken: These things are very easily established by looking at Israel’s clear historical presence, In the Land for Thousands of Years, which is supported by lots of archaeological facts. But contrary to that……

Chris LaFreniere
From an early age, Chris LaFreniere became interested in the written word, as well as finding his voice. He was quite regularly told by teachers, both in a positive way as well as a negative way, that his style of writing was akin to the way he thought. In one encounter with a teacher, she advised him that he should go into journalism because she believed he would do well.
Chris has been writing for close to a decade now, starting off as simply a way to get his views and opinions out via a blog, which over time has morphed into a more polished style as well as a new arena. One of which some individuals have referred to as “citizen journalism.” Writing is a passion for Chris and a place where he truly believes he’s found his voice. He also presently works as a copywriter.
