No pics yet but today I’m in Portsmouth and I will be going to Flatbread, which is a Flatbread Pizza place right near Prescott Park on 138 Congress Street. I’ve heard great things and I’m really excited to see what all the fuss is about! I’m fairly certain it will be the best thing I eat today so I’m going with it! I will write a review soon possibly early as today!
Expectations were high and let’s just say Flatbread delivered!
All the flatbread pizza is cooked right in front of the customers in clay wood fire ovens.
The dining room is huge and full of rustic wood tables and benches that really seem to be trending upward in certain establishments
The waiter was very welcoming and informative. It was during a slow time so I’m not sure what it would be like during a lunch or dinner rush.
Even so, the food is worth waiting for!
The prices are very reasonable and competitive with other pizzerias I have visited.
I’m pleased to announce that I’ve found my new favorite pizza place! Check out the picture of the pizza to see the awesome goodness I had the pleasure of eating.
I partook of the Punctuated Equilibrium pizza after having a house salad with local goat cheese. For dessert I started with Irish Creme coffee topped with maple syrup whipped cream. Then I moved to the actual dessert which was an oven baked brownie sundae with more of that amazing maple syrup whipped cream.
I highly recommend you try Flatbread in Portsmouth, NH! There are several other locations in different parts of New England as well so the next time you are traveling, I suggest seeking out a Flatbread to try for yourself!
