How does the saying go? “It is a Dog-Eat-Dog world.” The Latin phrase “Dog-Eat-Dog” basically means every man for himself. I have said this before and I will say it again. One of my favorite things about the Craft Brewing industry is that it is NOT a cut-throat industry. Many brewers believe that when one does well, they all will do well. They often work together and build one another up. I find this to be true the more I work with our area’s brewers.

No more is it Dog-Eat-Dog world; instead, it is a Froggy Frogg world!

Frogg Brewing was the 1st New Hampshire brewery I reached out to after deciding I wanted to branch out to my home New Hampshire when starting Country Brew Tours. I happened upon them one day on my way home to Jaffrey, NH to visit my family. Their vibrant green logo caught my attention. On my way home their logo stayed on my mind. Then the light bulb went off, why limit Country Brew Tours to Vermont? Why not include New Hampshire? I live in the Tri-State region and I want to support my new home just as much as my home growing up. I had a test tour scheduled to launch already. The next day I emailed Frogg Brewing Company. Next thing I knew, I was about to bring a tour group of somewhat estranged Vermonters down to my home Cheshire County for a brew tour. This decision is what changed Country Brew Tours and set us on our way.

Did you know??? A group of frogs is called an army?…

ONE FOR ALE AND ALE FOR ONE! This Frogg Army is sticking together!

Frogg Brewing first opened in October of 2018 they recently had their one year anniversary. In one year of business, this brewery has made quite an impact in their community. There is never a time when I come down to visit my good friends that their brewery doesn’t have a loyal fan or two inside. Stephanie, Mike, and Alex are bringing the community of Marlborough, NH together. They are constantly hosting events to help improve it. Even with Country Brew Tours, they are constantly helping me. Educating me on the beer industry and introducing me to new brewers in the area. I asked Stephanie what Frogg’s mission is. She replied.

“Our mission is to bring great beer to the Monadnock region and partner with local small businesses and vendors to help them succeed and do well.”

They are hitting the mark with their mission. As I said they are constantly doing community events helping to build the community. Such as their family fun day, where they were raising money for the local school and they had food truck vendors and more for it. They have several events monthly with local crafters supporting them. They welcomed me with open arms as I have mentioned. Including when I asked to host a trivia night. Not even a blink they welcomed me. We have now done two trivia nights together. Both with a great turn out. Thank you, friends. Our 1st trivia night together was about announcing Country Brew Tours to the public. Look at the welcome we received. Frogg not only played host and helped me in getting the event together. They even got me a fantastic welcome cake from another local business Chickadee Bakery in Marlborough, NH.

On December 5th they are hosting their second Sip and Shop. They have invited several local businesses to Frogg for this. What it is, is your chance to try Frogg’s beer and shop from local small business. Meeting these great business owners and having the chance to get to know them.

Frogg has certainly changed our community for the better. When you Hop right into Frogg you are family. You will receive a warm welcome and cold fresh brew. They always have a great selection on tap. In their first year of business, these guys have already brought home titles for their brews. Recently taking 1st and 2nd place at the Claremont Brewers Festival.

I haven’t found a beer yet that I didn’t like. In fact, I have said this time and time again I am not a fan of IPA’s. However, I certainly am a fan of their new Tropical IPA and the Banti IPA that I first sampled at the Wyman Tavern Brewers Festival.

From their summer treats to their winter ales there is something for everyone at Frogg Brewing. The beer is constantly changing flavors. There is always something new on tap when I visit.

Recently we had a tour guest who ironically didn’t like beer. In fact, she was along for the ride in support of her hubby. Our 1st stop was Frogg Brewery. At first, she was shy and felt a little out of place when it came time to pick out her flight of beer. I went to Stephanie and Mike and explained she is new to the craft beer world. They gave her the introduction that craft beer deserves. They helped her find beers she would love. That is what Country Brew Tours is all about. We want to immerse you into the beautiful culture of craft beer. I firmly believe that introductions are important. A proper introduction to craft beer is what changed my mind. Frogg made our guests night by doing so.

Every time I go to Frogg I am learning something new from my friends. Their vision mixed with ours has made for quite the adventure for our guests. Mike has now hosted two behind the scenes tours for us and I have to say I am quite impressed with this micro-brewing operation. I have quickly learned the value of time with these guys. Mike explained that for a brewery of their size timing is everything. Trust me when I say they have it down. That is how they are able to keep our taste buds hoppy with their brews. These guys are only able to brew a few beers at a time and yet they continue to have several on tap! HOW do they do it? Tour with Country Brew Tours or Hop right into Frogg to find out.

Stephanie, Mike, and Alex have changed the world for Country brew tours. I am truly grateful that I Hopped into Frogg. They have opened many doors for us and their support is what keeps us going. From the special added touches they do for our tour guests, to the beers to their genuine passion for what they are doing, This trio is coming in hot.

Three estranged beer lovers coming together over one common goal. It is magic! Stephanie and Mike started out as beer connoisseurs. They spent years traveling the world trying craft beers from all over. Mike had a dream to open a brewery and Stephanie hopped on board in support. By luck, her hairdresser happened to be married to a fantastic brewer. In came Alex. Stephanie learned Alex was looking to brew closer to home ending his long commute to work. Next thing you know you have Three amazing people operating this great brewery. Stephanie is the one finding the local businesses and helping us all grow together. I am so happy to be part of the Frogg family.

Next time you are in Frogg take notice of all the friendly photos on the wall. In one year their wall is full of happy memories. When I am there, I feel comfortable and like family. I have only been working with these fantastic people since May and let me just say when they told me they hadn’t even been open a year yet, I swear my heart skipped a few beats. THEY ARE KILLING IT! I would never have believed that these guys have only been in operation for a year. Let alone the story of how they came together. Now I have witnessed first hand the powerful bond of friendship and community that they share. I completely understand how this is possible. It is truly remarkable what they are doing over at Frogg. I recommend it if you haven’t yet. “Hop Right Into Frogg” and grab yourself a delicious brew. See the magic for yourself.

Till our next adventure friends, Cheers!
