It’s Been Tough, BUT! Let’s Help The Children Through This Time!

Virtual learning. Homeschooling. Hybrid learning.

School!?!?

WHAT?

We have learned a LOT of novel words and phrases in the last 9 months or so. (I think it began with “flatten the curve”.) But here we are. And my philosophy is if you can’t fix it, don’t worry about it, followed closely by “work in your community” AND “don’t complain” if you don’t have a solution or thought process.

I have watched my children struggle, take victories, and prepare for the “next thing” for the sake of my grandchildren. I have spent numerous hours with them and other young parents who are in the virtual learning mode. I think I am “more concerned” about the parents than I am the children. But, I am looking to add something positive to the mix, because that is the piece I can work on.

Let me say, I would love to hear from teachers and parents about how Positive News For You can work with you.

One of the goals of our nonprofit, PN4UINC, is to provide “positive training” or education. (We all could use some!) Over the last few years, our company has provided gifts (Posi our Positive News For You bear, bracelets and T-shirts for events.) to many of these students and children.

With many parents in-home, as well as the homeschooling contingent, I would love to hear from you. I would love to see children begin to participate with stories, about positive things going on where they are. (These stories can be written, as well as audio, video, and photographs. We have even had “roaming reporters“.)

Give us ideas on what I might do to keep positivity foremost as schools figure out the next steps.

And if you are an educator, a homeschooling parent or someone who wants to get involved in this, I hope you will reach out. I love collaboration! I would love to brainstorm with some of you. (I would love to have a larger educational piece to what we do at Positive News For You.)

I look forward to hearing from you!
