Going to the beach is a fun experience. Swimming, relaxing on a towel with a book, or just staring off towards the water can bring rejuvenation. But, if you turn your beach visit into a beach party, it gets even better. Today is all about gathering together with friends and having a party on the beach!

How to Observe
Celebrate the day by going to the beach! Perhaps you are lucky and live by an ocean, but any lake will do. Although you could just go for a swim or lay on a beach towel in the sand, today’s holiday is about having a party! Invite along a bunch of friends and pack some food. Bring along some beach balls to toss around, set up a net for beach volleyball, or play some other beach games. If it ends up being a rainy day, you could have some friends over and watch some beach party films, such as the aptly titled Beach Party. Today is also the perfect day to listen to the Beach Boys!
