There Are People Who Go Above And Beyond

Finding people through standard news sources isn’t always easy. News that is good doesn’t always reach people because they don’t make money. Fear sells. And that is where the emphasis is.

Each day, I pore over sites that have lots of yucky stories. Stories that cause people to feel like they have been slimed. But occasionally, I find that story of inspiration, that makes people feel better. (Yes, there are stories about pets and babies, but many of these stories are about people just doing something better for humanity.) “{{more}}

Today, one happened in “my backyard”.

I was looking through my local paper and there was a story about one of our creators, here at Positive News For You. His name is Luca Paris. He owns Luca’s Mediterranean Restaurant here in Keene.

The story was about a young couple on an icy night here in Keene, ready to have their rehearsal dinner, only to find out that the restaurant they had planned on was not going to be open. The pastor, Albie Booth who was going to do the officiation of the wedding, offered to bring resolution to the problem. While he walked around town, he noticed that Luca’s had a large room that appeared empty. He met with Luca and Luca worked his magic. The couple had their rehearsal dinner. (At one of the best restaurants in town!)

I love stories like this. I like the players and the results. I like all of it.

And I know these stories are happening ALL the time. Everyday. But because they don’t make money for people publishing, we often never hear about them or see them. The mission of who we are and what do is to make a difference and let EVERYONE know all about the great things people are doing.

And here is where you can help. Most of us know that business person who goes above and beyond “the call of duty”.
