Happy Saturday!
Today is…Make a Difference Day
#MakeADifferenceDay
To the Make A Difference Day Community:
Since 1992, Make A Difference Day has inspired hundreds of thousands of volunteers to give back in their local communities. Thank you.
As we look to the future and how best to serve the communities where TEGNA operates local television stations, we will no longer support Make A Difference Day. Instead, we will pursue our purpose of serving the greater good of our communities through our TEGNA Foundation Community Grant program, which provides funding throughout the year for nonprofits identified by our local stations. You can learn more about our Community Grants here.
If you are looking for ways to continue to organize community volunteer projects, please go to All For Good where you can discover new ways to make a difference.
We are proud of all that we’ve accomplished together through Make A Difference Day and want to thank you and our partners – the Arby’s Foundation and Points of Light – for your support.
Thanks for making a difference with
Every day we look for the best in Positive News so that you might have a great start on your day. Thank you for taking the time to read, share and support our mission.
