Hanging out with family! (And a friend!)
The first question I am asked when I talk about the Kickstarter project. “What is Kickstarter?” (Part of it is getting to hang out with grandkids and friends like the picture on the left. More on this in a minute!)
In a nutshell, a Kickstarter project is “crowdfunding”. Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet. Crowdfunding is a form of crowdsourcing and alternative finance. Kickstarter is the website to do it at.
Each and everyone who participates to help us get where we are headed is a winner. We put together rewards that will not just “show us the money” but will give you value for your pledge.
And every pledge helps build a company that will change our country through positivity. It is about bringing writers, videographers, and photographers together to get the word out that things are getting better. That people are doing great things!
And those kids? They need to know that there is something awesome out there and there is room for them there in it. I am going to be working with some others to develop young entrepreneurs!
