While at Woodstock Inn Brewery, Our entire group ordered a flight. We wanted to sample as many of Woodstock’s brews as possible. We sat on their patio. There you will find their outdoor bar, large shade trees to sit under. When you order a flight you get to choose five 3oz samples of beer. It was hard to narrow in my choice of brews. There were so many to choose from. I was glad when my friends also got a flight. More to sample. My flight didn’t express all the colors of the rainbow. I ended up choosing a lot of lighter ales, a few ambers and a couple IPA’s. I enjoyed them all. My choice of flavor pallet was based on fruity. I was looking for something light and refreshing for a hot summer day. I didn’t want anything to heavy as I knew I was going to be hiking some trails along the Kancamangus after lunch.
“Freedom is the oxygen for the soul.” – Mashe Dayan
My overall favorite beer out of my flight was the blueberry pale ale. YUMMY! I first tried that brew at the Wyman Tavern Brew Fest in Keene, NH a few days prior to this visit. All of the choices on my flight went well with my lunch. If you think the beer menu has a lot to choose from, everything sounds delicious on the lunch menu as well. Your mouth will water just reading it. We ended up getting a few apps for the table to share and then we each ordered our own sandwiches and burgers. This light fair menu will knock your socks off. Woodstock Inn Brewery sure knows the way to a person’s heart and soul. Great food and even better beer.
There is something to be said about a good meal shared with friends. This is the place you and your friends should start your White Mountain adventure. Kick it off right with a meal that will delight. Immerse yourself into the culture of craft beer and all things New Hampshire by taking a tour while you are there. Afterward, explore the Kancamangus highway and see the beauty of New Hampshire at its finest point.
Feel Free to Be.
