Foodie Erik Willis reviews Jeanne’s Family Diner in Swanzey, New Hampshire.
Today I ventured out to West Swanzey to Jeanne’s Family Diner at 757 W Swanzey Road after a nice long walk in the woods. Needless to say, my appetite was ready to take on a hearty breakfast which in my mind is the best time to go big.
I started with coffee which was bottomless. That is always a plus and also I would say the coffee was above average.
Then for breakfast, I had a mega breakfast sandwich with egg cheese and plenty of bacon. Along with that, I had a side of home fries with onions.
I really like the small mom-and-pop diner feel of this place.
Service was above average and the food and prices were above average as well.
They are open 7 days a week from 6:30 to 2 pm except on Sunday when they close at 12.
Absolutely worth a visit for breakfast or lunch and it’s only 5 miles outside of Keene. I will make this a part of my monthly breakfast rotation for sure.
