Positive Event At Frogg Brewing With A Great Car Show

Frogg Brewing has put together great car shows over the years. They have done shows to promote charities, provided prizes, put together food and drink, and provided their great location for the show.

Everyone knows I love car shows. I love cars, especially classics and muscle cars, and I love the family atmosphere that exists at most of these shows. I have been going to car shows since I can remember. (One of those shows I will be at this year, will be year 35 of going there. 1985 was my first year there.) And dragging kids and grandchildren to shows.

When Frogg announced some shows on Wednesday nights, I was in. Unfortunately, my schedule for the first few weeks did not allow me to be there. Last night, my wife and grandson caught our first one. It was great. Great weather, good food and drink, awesome cars and people.

(And I love these folks!)

When we pulled in, an older friend waved over to us as we were parking. He was driving his classic Trans Am. We walked over to greet him and some of the first cars that had arrived. He invited Jacob to have a seat in his car.  (Jacob has sat in a LOT of classics!)

After we walked down through the first attenders, we headed up to the large covered patio area.We ordered some drinks. Jacob said he was going to put the drone up in the air and walked over to get it ready, while my wife and I sat and talked. Jacob ran some drone video and came back over. Rather than head home for dinner, we ended up with burgers there.

The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Our server, Briana, was amazing. And the cars were out of site.

Thank you to Frogg Brewing for opening their home to this show. And to all the cars and car owners who came.

I am headed to another car show this weekend, but weather permitting will be back for next week’s show at Frogg.

People ask me why I go to shows.

The number one reason is the diversity of the vehicles that show up. So, often there is that car you have not seen before! The one you did not expect to see. The overbuilt car, or the one that you never heard of. Sports cars, muscle cars, luxury cars, and custom builds.

But there is a tie when it comes to the people. The presence of club members or car owners who can share detailed insights about their vehicles. Most people are super friendly people who have put a lot of time and money into their cars and want to share their love with others.

If you want something to transcend the generations, this is one of those.

Local car shows are everywhere.

Again, thank you to all the owners and Frogg Brewing for making this fun event happen.

It was great to connect with them. They are going places. Did you see them at the Keene Food Fest? And I am grateful to have connected with Nate from Monadnock Hit & Run!

Got something cool going on where you are? I would love to hear about it!
