I LOVE car shows. (I will soon be launching a new site called I am Powerless over Cars… And my life has become…)
After leaving our church fellowship on Sunday morning, I headed over to Monadnock Ford in Swanzey, NH with my grandson, Jacob, for a local car show. We could see the cars as we pulled up to the dealership. We found a parking space, gathered our cameras and headed over.
Jacob loves cars and he loves car shows. He loves meeting people, and he loves taking pictures of the cars. He was in his element. Admittedly, some of his taste is a little more modern than mine.

“Lee, you go to a lot of car shows.” (You say that like it’s a bad thing!) Yes, yes, I do. I love the cars and trucks, the creativity, and power! (I don’t imagine there will ever be an electric car that will cause my pulse to race over the sound of the…hum!)
But, the real big reason is I can take my family. My children and my grandchildren. And meet friendly people. (I have written several stories on the friendliness of shows like this.)

Jacob and I were able to get some great photos and have some conversations with many of the owners. Car people are pretty friendly people. And Sunday was no different. Many of the older folks were excited to see someone Jacob’s age there.
