Learning from YouTube. It’s how they learn.

Part of Jacob’s school year includes applying his learning to writing. This is the first in his YouTuber series.

See the source imageMark Rober is a YouTuber who, before YouTube, worked at NASA, building the rover that was on Mars. He started making videos and posted his first on YouTube in October 2011. His first YouTube video was him taping 2 Ipads to him, one on the front and one on the back, which were connected to a camera, making him seem to be see-through. Mark Rober is famous for his videos on his glitter bomb packages, backyard squirrel maze, and the crazy inventions he made. These included a Huge nerf gun, liquid sand pool, and snowball machine gun. His most viewed video is on the weirder side, a video of him explaining how to skin a watermelon. Although it is strange, it is a good and funny video.

Currently, Mark Rober is sitting at 23.2 Million subscribers on YouTube. He has quite an exciting life in which he has worked for NASA, gotten 23 million subscribers, has a family, and is a genius in science, physics, etc.

I like Mark Rober because of how he does his videos which are usually a mix of the science behind the project and how the project turned out and people’s reactions to the project. Mark Rober has a son who is autistic, and he made an entire video about his son and what his son’s life is like, which I like because Mark Rober is about Autism Awareness because of his son. In all of Mark Robers’s videos, he is always kind, optimistic about the outcomes, and just a kind person in general.

My favorite videos by Mark Rober would be the glitter bomb videos or his crazy inventions like his Huge Nerf Gun. I like those videos because it’s educational. After all, he tells you about the science behind how he did it and explained why. But it’s not all educational because he shows us him using the invention and plays with it. The reason he makes these crazy inventions is that he has explained that he is trying to become his nieces’ and nephews’ favorite uncle. Personally, I believe that he is most likely the favorite uncle.

Mark Rober's Final Glitter Bomb Is New and ImprovedMark Rober worked for NASA and helped design and build the rover that went to Mars and roamed around Mars. He then quit becoming a Youtuber full-time because he made more money a year as a YouTuber. His Glitter Bomb videos are about him being angered by one of his stolen packages, so he designed a fake package that is recorded on phones inside the package, and it would set off a spinner full of glitter, sending glitter everywhere and setting off fart spray. Over time, he has slowly upgraded and made new designs for the boxes until his final glitter bomb video was made six days ago, where he said he would not make his glitter bombs anymore. (17 million views as of today.)

Mark Rober is a funny, kind, and talented YouTuber who will go down as a legend in the YouTuber world.
